Dr. Sarah completed her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) Degree from the University of Dundee in the
United Kingdom in 2006. After graduation she worked in the UK as a general dentist for 8 years before
deciding to move to Dubai.
Dr. Sarah relocated to Dubai in 2013 after living in the U.K for more than 18 years. She worked in Dubai
Healthcare City for around a year before joining Al Dehyafa Dental Centre early 2014. Dr. Sarah finds
dentistry a very rewarding career and she loves treating patients and achieving
high clinical results.
Dr. Sarah has more than 12 years of wide experience in all fields of general dentistry involving fillings,
periodontal treatments, root canal treatments, oral surgery, crown and bridge work, cosmetic dentistry
including veneers and teeth whitening. She also has a specialist interest in treating children. Her calm,
bubbly personality makes her very successful in treating children. She particularly enjoy treating children
and provide the essential prevention measures to avoid the development and progression of dental caries.
Dr. Sarah enjoy treating all variety of age groups with different backgrounds treating both adults and
children. She believes that dental prevention and oral education are the key to a healthy smile.
Dr Sarah Al-Saffar is the medical director of the Al Wasl branch of Al Dehyafa dental centres and she
has a very friendly approach with her patients. She is fluent in both English and Arabic. Dr Sarah is also a member in the British General Dental Council GDC.
